CRISOL DE CUERDA es un encuentro en torno a la música tradicional en el que convergen creatividad, práctica, conocimiento y libertad. Es un espacio para amantes de la música que comparten su interés por la tradición y la innovación.

A pies del río Arlanzón, en el pueblo con el mismo nombre y a pocos kilómetros de la ciudad de Burgos, violinistas y otros músicos, sin límite de edad o experiencia musical, nos reuniremos para compartir, aprender y dar rienda suelta a nuestra creatividad y habilidades musicales en torno al violín, el violonchelo y la guitarra, entre otros. Guiados por maestros de dichos instrumentos, nos acercaremos a la música desde un punto de vista divertido y práctico.

El entorno nos permitirá disfrutar de la naturaleza en esta época del año y realizar diversas actividadesen la naturaleza; unir música y naturaleza es un valor añadido que refuerza a ambos.

¿Qué tiene de excepcional CRISOL DE CUERDA? Además del entorno, la posibilidad de aprender,  tocar y divertirse con grándes músicos y destacados maestros y participar de  esta ocasión única compartiendo conocimientos y habilidades en este proyecto educativo único en la Península.

El taller se desarrollará del 31 de Julio al 7 de Agosto de 2011 y los maestros serán ALASDAIR FRASER (fiddle), BEGOÑA RIOBÓ (fiddle) DIEGO GALAZ (fiddle), NATALIE HAAS (chelo), JUAN ARRIOLA (fiddle), XOSÉ LIZ (guitarra y bouzouki), JAIME MUÑOZ (flautas), GEMA RIZO (danzas) y mucho más...

CRISOL DE CUERDA is a camp in which creativity, knowledge and freedom converge. It is a space for music lovers that are interested in both tradition and innovation.

At the feet of Arlanzón's river, in a village with the same name and a few miles far (20 min) from Burgos city, fiddlers and other musicians of all ages and musical levels will meet to share, learn and let their creativity run free. Teachers of fiddle, cello and guitar will help guide you in this journey with an approach to music that is both practical and fun.

This environment will allow you to enjoy the nature in this season and to do some non-musical but Nature activities; joining music and nature makes for a beautiful combination.

What makes CRISOL DE CUERDA unique? Besides the environment, you will have a chance to learn from and play with great teachers, and to participate in a unique and creative educational project in the Iberian Peninsula.

The camp will take place from the 31st of July to the 7th of August 2011, and the teachers are: ALASDAIR FRASER (fiddle), BEGOÑA RIOBÓ (fiddle) DIEGO GALAZ (fiddle), NATALIE HAAS (cello), JUAN ARRIOLA (fiddle), XOSÉ LIZ (bouzouki and guitar), JAIME MUÑOZ (flutes) and GEMA RIZO (dancing).
